Type E sets are used as (but not limited to) electrical manholes. Typically they are “flared base” in design. These sets are ideal where a pre-cast or structure has a wide opening, 36” for example, but may require a smaller standard cover, i.e. 24”. Exceeds HS-20 and H-20 load requirements. Available with any type of cover design required.
