Type F and P frame and grates are for catch basins, webs may be added to type F. In the past, webs were added for concrete installation. Today, with modern concrete materials, it is no longer required. Webs are more for appearance, and serve no real function. The webs do not add additional strength to the frame. Type P are for concrete slab installation. Exceeds H-20 and HS-20 load requirements.
